Episode 41 - Spinal Tap

Join the boys live, straight from hell, as they attempt to capture the sight, the sounds, the smells one of their favorite comedy rockumentaries of all time, and the comedy legacy that came from it. Where did they start? Where have they been? And what would they say to us if we were here tonight?

If you love mockumentary films, check out the rock and roll creation that started it all with a group that distinguished themselves as one of Britain's loudest rock bands.

Drummers, proceed at your own risk. And have a good time, all the time.

This week's promo is for Not Suitable 4 Adults Podcast. They review the TV shows that they have to watch as parents of small children. They aren't reviewing them for your kids, but more for your sanity. What is it like to watch hours of kids programming as an adult? Well if you have never had small children they will let you know. If you currently have small children they will help you avoid the worst and find the best of it. And if your children have grown you can listen with the satisfaction that you don't ever actually have to watch the shows they are discussing. You can listen to them here.

This week we come to you from our individual government mandated isolation pods to bring you an update of all the things we found interesting over the last couple weeks. All without the inconvenience of actually having to see each other in real life. This time we cover movie delays, outrageous rental prices, a potential astronomical event, and a few recommendations on how to keep sane during your distancing.

Also, apologies for the poor quality of Ben's mic. This kinda caught us with our pants down and we weren't quite prepared to record remotely. But the show must go on!

What do you have planned this weekend? Riding bikes with your pals? Reading some comic books you picked up off the rack at the drug store? Or how about a game of stickball in the street? All of those sound great, but they come after the most essential ritual of any successful Saturday morning... The Cartoons.

This time around the boys are once again joined by their very first guest, Mr. Kyle Smith. Come relive your childhood, or be regaled with tales of a bygone era.

Grab a bowl of cereal and tune in for some rowdy reminiscences!

Guess who's back, everybody? Ben made it out of Mardi Gras relatively unscathed, and he's back in the studio with Jon to talk about the latest in geek news. The new Batmobile has been revealed to the world, Disney top dog steps down, and what's all this talk about the Moon's little brother?

All this and more on today's off topic debrief!
